I personally enjoy the precision playing like PT and Jethro Tull, over the power of DT, Metallica, Megadeth. Music with subtle details is always harder to achieve than just spectacular perfomances.

I agree. Precision is more important than power. However, you can't go out and play a show that is perfectly precise, but has no emotion, no feeling, no power at all. If you need more of one, you need more precision, but power is necessary in some way.
