I've always enjoyed John's drumming on this album. 

I notice that everyone here seems to consider Trespass one of Genesis's finest albums. I agree! When you consider that the year was 1970 (when prog was in its infancy) and their previous, 1969 album, From Genesis to Revelation, revealed an immature band in search of its identity, it is amazing how far along the band came with Trespass in developing their mature and distinctive prog sound and style.
