I'm a forum member (obviously)- don't contribute much any more but remembered my login!

Feels weird to suggest myself, but this seems to be the place to do it.

I recently released a CD, "Shadowlands", which I recorded last winter in the highest-fidelity sound.

The album is a mixed bag, but as a proghead, the influences are pretty easy to detect, and some of them might quality it for inclusion, prog as well as ambient and psychedelic music.

Among the music that has inspired the record is Popol Vuh, Amon Duul II, Pink Floyd, the Moody Blues, Porcupine Tree, Fairport Convention, Ash Ra Tempel, The Church and many other PA artists. There's a fair amount of mellotron on the recording as well, which was fun to record.

Samples can be found at:
http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/allisterthompson
http://www.last.fm/music/Allister+Thompson/Shadowlands
www.myspace.com/allisterthompson

It is available via iTunes, CDBaby, Rhapsody, Amazon, eMusic, etc.

Thx

It sounds very good to me.This evening I will have a listen and will mail you in order to share my experience.I love mellotron and Krautrock is like organic food:good for mind and body.By the way Popol Vuh's Das Hoelied Salomos is one of my favourite albums.
