Oddly enough, I've often run into spider webs at my old house, but never got truly caught in one.  They'd usually just get stuck my glasses, hair, and face.  If I was lucky a spider wouldn't wind up crawling on me.

Oh wait, the internet?  Well, I still go through withdrawal if I can't get connected on a daily or so basis. LOL
