Hello, I'd like to suggest the relatively new Power-Prog band HEDDA.

HEDDA is a new band made up of veteran musicians each with over 20 years experience in various metal and hard rock endeavors. HEDDA was founded by bassist and lyricist, Jamie Mac and guitarist Kent Herman whom were both involved with strictly “progressive” projects for many years. HEDDA is a new direction for us and we describe it as “provocative metal with progressive moments and tendencies” and is influenced by bands from RUSH to DREAM THEATER to IRON MAIDEN to newer bands like KAMELOT, MASTERPLAN and FIREWIND. The music of HEDDA is a more straight forward approach than we have delved into in past projects, but we continue to demonstrate our progressive mind-set and chops on a regular basis while creating a more listener (not just musician) friendly atmosphere.

HEDDA's debut album "The Calm Before..." was released in August of 2009 and is a precursor to their full length concept album "The Storm", which has a tentative late 2010 release date.
