Topic: Birthday list problem Posted: December 31 2009 at 18:46 |
What happens with today's birthday list? Is it a New Year joke ,I missed something or it's a bug?

It's not a bug. Many people don't care about filling the form when registering a new account, and they just click OK for the standard birthday set-up, which is January 1.

^ If you go through the stages of creating a new account and click on the drop-down list for picking a birth year, you'll see the first one on the list is 1910. So that figures.

just read the names of some of the birthday boys. for some reason, even though it's 2010 here, i'm still seeing the dec. 31 birthdays. but last year's list was quite amusing. i remember stiffone (or some such name) was having his 99th birthday last year.

I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

OK, I understand now. But I think it's a good possibility just to clean data base from all these ghosts. If you will check all this 101-year old fans, almost all of them visited PA site just once in their 101-year life, often some years ago. S0- why don't clean data base from old ghosts?

Too funny not to comment. There was another thread that I can't remember right now where there were some talking of deleting old accounts, I think the thread about our nicknames.
