Topic: Oh what do I love music Posted: March 10 2010 at 19:55 |
Hi all, I am from Bangle of India and I am related with some site also and now I am finding some ask from here. There's a historical line in "progressive" music which always continued. In the '80's and '90's the musical challenges are to find elsewhere than in '60's and '70's. Music still is extremely interesting nowadays and I can hardly notice everything because there has been an explosion of creativity since a few years, and many genres have creative souls that have something original to offer. You still need a nose and an eye for music to find out where the real creativity lies. And also, the world is big. The term 'prog' nowadays means something different already and refers hardly to what was "progressive" in the early days. Some people like to call more of the interesting stuff "psychedelic" or "psych", but some of the new inventive music could still be called "progressive" too -in the very old sense of what that means-But, I want to say "Oh what do I love music".

Hi mfarida and a warm welcome! Look forward to seeing you on the forums. I hear what you're saying about the '60s and '70s and I'm one of those old guys, but there's so much newer stuff here for you to discover as well. Enjoy
