A friend the other showed me a new song of one of his favorite artists (Yes he loves the new age music) but showed me in particular because he knew I love prog rock (after many failed atempts to convert him)

You might ask why I am posting this, well ...... I think some parts of this song might sound ...... familiar

If you don't like this awful song skip to somewhere in the middle or to the end...

Thoughts?

Didn't sound like a straight sample, just a re-creation.  I'm sure Mr. Fripp and Kanye are old drinking buddies so its all legit.Wink

I do like that Prog is being presented in modern music, the only thing that bugs me is that only about 5% would say "Hey thats that one song from King Crimson!"

It's hard to believe that they are drinking buddies, but Fripp has been credited and that's good enough for me Smile

It's the Vevo company, they block videos in certain countries.
Luckily you didn't miss much, Kanye West performs a new song with samples from "21st Century Schizoid man" By King Crimson

Actually I was referring to the sample of "21st Century Schizoid man".
I agree, the video seems very artistic and maybe prog can make a come back to the kids Smile (I know I know ...... I sound like an old man)
