I think the profile is used as a system default for people who have not signed in, when browsing the forum. As Chopper says, it is also used as a default for posts by a member whose profile has been deleted, either at thier own request or or admin reasons.

No, it's someone who registered a normal user with the "Guest" username:

The old "Guests" feature, which used to allow non-registered users to post in the forum (and which was desabled a long time ago) is different, no one can do that anymore.

Wait, was the account deleted?
If so I think a mistake may have been made.

Whoever that was, and they were a bit mysterious with their entrance, simply made an account with the name "guest"
Actually ran into them outside of PA first...

Edit: Sorry, I think you meant someone with a deleted account as in they were previously...
Just to shed some light, again the member is legit, though odd admittedly.
