i suggest crydebris for tech/extreme prog metal
 
they soudn like cyclamen and other djent bands
they also have some traits of post-rock
they broke up in 2008 and only released a 4 track EP called The severing
 
Music is the only safe kind of high-Jimi Hendrix

it was a limited run of 300 only :( i was lucky enough to get a copy though :)

They shouldn't have disbanded, they were on to something, definitely, it's just not fully realized yet

And it does get quite tech and extreme indeed.
But now that we established that, let's see if there's actually some Prog in there as well...
