A couple of goodies due out by end of summer:

Out Bloody Rageous  by Graham Bennett:  the biography of Soft Machine out September 2005 - have to admit involvement, as  I  proof-read the author's draft this time last year, and therefore unsurprisingly I think it is a great book

Out Bloody Rageous the Sony Records compilation (up to but seemingly not including the Harvest recordings) out at the beginning of July - no indication whether the early work is from the ABC Probe Record releases or other versions - or whether these are remastered, which Soft Machine and Volume 2 need in a big way.

Graham Bennett assures me the common title is a coincidence , with no ties having been discussed.
