   Balkandji is a Bulgarian Folk influenced Heavy Metal band from Bulgaria. Like Bulgarian folk music, Balkandji's music consists of constant changing odd-time signatures, making their music very complex. Their lyrics are about Bulgarian folklore ranging from love, the loved one, to the love of native land written in Bulgarian; and also uses Bulgarian traditional instruments such as Tambura, Kaval and Tupan.
