As to SOTE, we'll try to get that last vote for Heavy, if it doesn't fly then they can be cleared in Prog Metal right away.

Not Otherwise Specified only has one vote so that will take a bit longer still.

Since my last post in mid-November the poor bloke has been moved to Heavy Prog, kicked out of Heavy prog, moved to Neo Prog again, kicked out of Neo Prog again...and now it seems he is homeless once again...!! Cry

I bet he doesn't know whether he wants a s..t or a haircut at the moment!!! Shocked

This was one of the best prog albums of 2011 imho...why can't we find a place for it here?? (I still think Heavy Prog is where it really belongs, with Prog Metal as second choice). If all else fails, let's at least see if Crossover will consider him (it is they or Ecelctic who usually end up with the artists who are definitely prog, but that no one else seems to want). I don't see it as Neo Prog at all - there are odd passages of Neo dotted about in it for sure, but not enough to merit its inclusion in the sub genre.

Surely this has gone on long enough now?? Unhappy

^They're under "new" on Heavy right now, so they (should) be dealt with in the next couple weeks. My plan is to clear and add all bands with 2011 albums before February 20th (the deadline for Collab AOTY lists to be in)

You'll probably find everything you need right here: http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Not-Otherwise-Specified/229858410373903?sk=info. Probably best if you edit it yourself rather than me do it...and then you having to do it all over again anyway!! LOL

Anyone who enjoyed the excellent 'Judgment' debut album will find plenty of interest in Craig's new album 'Projective Instruments' too. It was released at the end of February: http://nototherwisespecified.bandcamp.com/album/projective-instruments, and is currently on progstreaming too: http://www.progstreaming.com/_wb/pages/play-album.php?activeAlbum=00694+-+Not+Otherwise+Specified+-+Projective+Instruments.   Thumbs Up

Should give this a listen, the debut was impressive considering it was a single person's work.
