When I go to Belfast, I always hum or bring Thin Lizzy's song Black Rose with me. That song is for me Northern Ireland and Belfast although it was never meant as it. But I just get that association with that song. For some unlogical reasons, I love that album and Thin Lizzy. I have always been a fan of them. Well, for the last 30 years or so.

Runrig is a prog influenced Scottish band actually from Skye.  Try "The Big Wheel", "Heartland", "Discovery", "Stamping Ground", or "Proterra". 
Mike Oldfield's most celtic sounding albums are probably QE2 and Five Miles Out
