...and not just this, they doesn't show properly in tracklist/lineup info as well.

It would be great if support for such rare (in English, but abundant in many Eastern Europe languages) characters were created/improved.

As it is now, the situation is not good (as I will show on some examples)
ě š č ř ž ý ý á í é Ě Š Č Ř Ž Ý Á Í É ň Ň ď Ď ť Ť
and those are only ones that I use, there are for sure others. I am Czech from Czech Republic, I can speak for my country. These characters are used a lot in names, as shown here:

http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=20433

HVEZDON/ASTEROID

(should be HVĚZDOŇ/ASTEROID)

1. Trhanec (The Muffin) (4:35)
2. Rozep?e (Dispute) (6:15)
3. Procitání (Awaking) (4:40)
4. Silvestr na Bastírn? (New Year's Eve on Bastirna) (5:50)
5. Peru? (Wing) (7:15)
6. Pivo v prásku (Powder Beer) (5:00)
7. Hv?zdo? (Asteroid) (2:10)
8. Bozí ?lov?k (God's Man) (5:10)

should be

1. Trhanec (The Muffin) (4:35)
2. Rozepře (Dispute) (6:15)
3. Procitání (Awaking) (4:40)
4. Silvestr na Baštírně (New Year's Eve on Bastirna) (5:50)
5. Peruť (Wing) (7:15)
6. Pivo v prášku (Powder Beer) (5:00)
7. Hvězdoň (Asteroid) (2:10)
8. Boží člověk (God's Man) (5:10)

But updating (both directly on album's page, or from admin panel) doesn't work for me, Marty McFly, nor for Eugene NotAProgHead , which leads us to think that Unicode support doesn't work, or work badly.

If there is anything that can be done, please do it - it would solve one of the bigger problems of our team - Czech Republic, Slovakia and all other countries that could use this have hundreds of albums that suffer from it (estimate).

There's a point where "avant-garde" and "experimental" becomes "terrible" and "pointless,"

Another, probably related, Unicode problem was reported in February: http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=75568&KW=

Nothing's changed yet.

Eugene, from the other thread:

- edit info from the album page --> diactric letters disappear.

It's enough to make any smallest change and after editing we'll see, for instance, Zoltn Fbin instead of Zoltán Fábián.
Hours of work are often destroyed in a few seconds.
It does not happen if the info is edited from Admin zone.

It wasn't happening when done from admin zone, but now it is happening even from admin zone, right ?

No, editing from Admin zone is OK, it does not destroy diactric letters.

The problem is in some letters (like ě š č ř ž) specific to Czech and some other languages. Regardless of the way of editing (from the album page or Admin panel) they are never shown correctly.

Wait a minute, ě š č ř ž are diactric as well, right ? So the system can take some and refuses others.
