This Tangram: http://soundcloud.com/tangrammusic...? No...But I reckon he deserves a shot.

The suggestion I am building is for John Dyson/Wavestar (two suggestions really, sort of interrelated, since John Dyson was one half of Wavestar...Stop me now if it's doomed to failure though - the stuff's very similar to Peter Fabok's Tangram actually. Tongue

Edit: A taster of Wavestar's music (The very first appearance of Wavestar 'Live' at UK Electronica 1985 Sheffield UK...last track of concert 'Time Node'):

Thumbs Up

I have to say, this has a giant influence from Berlin School and the PET needs to take a look at these guys, but some of those almost pop-ish elements might offset them a bit. But definitely a good suggestion and one for the electro boys to take a stab at.

Their other stuff isn't so pop-ish - I'll finish the suggestion off asap...I'm trying to cook my supper at the same time, so it's being done in fits and starts. LOL

There's some damn fine music in this lot when it finally gets posted - unlike the monotonous, tuneless, droney stuff that usually ends up in PE!  LOL

Wait... Wacko

Is the above TANGRAM you posted not it's own shindig? Because I foolishly thought this was it's own thread due to it starting on a new page... LOL
The PET was alerted for them anyhow.

LOL - no!! Alex (Sheavy) asked me if Tangram was the artist that I was about to suggest for PE...I was just trying to get him to confirm that this was the Tangram he had in mind when I posted the soundcloud link, 'cos there are others too!! No thread exists yet in the forum for this Tangram, and I daren't create one myself, or Alex will think I've hi-jacked his suggestion! Pig

I'll do a proper thread for them if you like...20 releases in around 6 years- this guy is quite prolific! - I'm looking for samples right now to supplement the YouTube ones I found. Should be a good PE candidate...At least Alex can now have an afternoon in the Garden tomorrow instead of trawling the Internet for Tangram samples! LOL

Edit: This thread didn't do Talfast a whole lot of good, but it looks like it's got two (three maybe?) other potential PE bands/artists a foot in the door! Cool
