How about an 'I know em, and I'd about put them on a par with DT' button, Mike? .
I've gone for DT on this thread...but only just. If PoS had a longer back catalogue containing RL parts 2 & 3, then it may be slightly different.

I had one album (Perfect Element) and thought it was OK, but not worth investigating further ... so where does that put me? I can't really say I know them since I know a tiny fraction of the group/Gildenlow's work ...

Perfect Element is difficult to start with ... if you're into metal, I'd recommend Concrete Lake, if not, you should try Remedy Lane. Both are VERY different from Perfect Element.

Remedy Lane is a more likely destination ...  ... but by God, there are a few 100 bands ahead in the list, now that I've already tried PoS ...

More emotional, more tasteful, more diverse, better singer, better songs. That's why they're better in my book.
