Now this is going to be one of those long-shot bands, but I really think this band deserves a place here/to seriously considered. Smersh came into being in 1979. Smersh are a duo of Mike Mangino, and Chris Shepard from u.s.a. I would describe Smersh as being a cross between Kraftwerk and NWW or TG. Experimental electro/industrial/minimalistic electronics.
They were forward thinking, or in other words, progressive, band, and i think with enough of a PE feel to be included.
