I don't know if this book is translated in english but it is an absolute must for some of you who want to get in touch with the influence of "yoga of sounds", "suspended drone music", "indian & buddhist" philosophies on popular music, since the launch of the minimalist movement back in the 60's and with the emergence of a few prog bands, definitely meditative in nature...I mean formations as Quintessance, Tangerine Dream, Far East Band...This book also explores the concept of "mandala" put into music, delivering new way of compositions for a pure alchemy between a great diversity of cultural influences. A specialised book written by a musician and an ethnomusicologist, a research in metamusic and trans-historical musical values.
