"Prog rock with some vocoders, squealies, mannequins, and plastic vegetables throughout- Chiasma is getting started strong with a full-length album available October 2014. Yeah - I listened to this a few days ago after receiving a recommendation for it from someone...and I loved it!
Certainly has its heavier moments, but there are other styles at play here too (they actually class themselves as Progressive Metal). Worth trying in Heavy Prog to begin with I feel - though I've got a hunch that it may get moved to Crossover eventually if the metal content isn't deemed sufficient for an evaluation by the blacksmiths. Definitely prog to my ears, and the band deserves to find a place on the site somewhere, though I'm really not sure where would be the best fit for them.

Hey guys! Dustin from Chiasma here. Just saw this scrolling through google so I thought I'd peak my head in. Glad everyone is digging the album! We're actually working on our second now.
