Two bass players whos both been integral too classic eras of Elton and Bowie, who also developed a distimct style and whos playing can be regarded amomg the soldiesy in the 70s. -------------

Trevor Bolder by light years for me, a proeminent figure in Uriah Heep engine and aswell he was part on Wishbone Ash. Never like it when he was in Bowie line up |

Dee Murray man..  Author of many great basslines... and most importantly.. one of my alltime favorites. Great example of it isn't how much you play.. but what you play.
