I always wanted a Funkadelic style super group, imagine Jimi Hendrix on guitar, Boots Collins on bass, Bernie Worrell on keys, and Buddy Miles on drums. It would be some of the most insane funky psych rock ever, very unfortunate that Hendrix died so young. But aside from that, super group would you wish to see? Can be as real or unrealistic as possible |

I don't have a dream rock supergroup. I wish certain bands would release new music, for sure, but I don't see how daydreaming of my favorite musicians collaborating would do me or anyone any good. In this context, reality is good enough.

Depends on the type of music I want to hear. Off the top of my head I would always choose Tony Levin. On drums I'd like Steve Jansen. On vocals I'd like David Sylvian and Elizabeth Frazer. On trumpet I'd like Jon Hassell. On guitars I'd like John McLaughlin and/or Ralph Towner. On keyboards I'd like Chick Corea. My dream rock supergroup? How about Jimi Hendrix on guitars & vocals, Noel Redding on bass and Mitch Mitchell on drums. Now that really would be an Experience worth seeing.
