I'm sure this has already be done, but i was just wondering who everyones favorite bands were. You can also list favorite songs or favorite albums. Here are mine, in no particular order: Genesis (everything Peter Gabriel, some of the best music EVER) Gentle Giant Jethro Tull (thick as a brick) Yes Led Zeppelin (not prog, but they are awesome) |

Only 5! 1. King Crimson (especially Red, Discipline and Lizard) 2. GonG (especially the Radio Gnome Trilogy, Shamal and Camembert Electrique) 3. Zappa (especially Hot Rats, Roxy & Elsewhere and The Grand Wazoo) 4. Tool (especially Lateralus and Aenima) 5. Can (especially Tago Mago, Ege Bamyasi and Future Days) I could also fit Primus, Ayreon, Yes, Opeth and the Ozrics into the Top 10, but i can't think of an order...

I would ask why there is no rap featured in that post, but I remembered that rap doesn't have bands, just a guy or two that talk and they collaborate with eachother without making official bands or as I guess the rappers would say, "clans".
