The Glass Prison gets my vote. The songs get less good as the suite goes on for me. However, I do think the first two are great songs, the third a very good one, and the fourth is a pretty good one. I don't like The Shattered Fortress. ------------- www.last.fm/user/ThisCenotaph

In between TGP, TDS, and TSF. TGP used to be my favorite DT song, but I'll give a vote to Fortress. TGP has enough votes as it is.

Wow, no love for repentance...not so anymore! I LOVE that song--one time where DT really set up some atmospherics and build into something powerful. I agree with you. Repentance is one of the better songs in the AA Suite. There's a small gap between the best three songs IMO (The Shattered Fortress, Root of All Evil, Repentance) but then there is a HUGE gap between the remaining two. I love Repentance. I absolutely love all of these.
Sorry T, it's got to be The Glass Prison for me. Root Of All Evil and Shattered Fortress are 2 and 3.
I'd stress however that all of them are 5-star songs in my opinion.

I second that. I think Glass Prison and The Dying Soul are the best parts, the other songs, while still good, are simpler and based in melodies presented in this two amazing songs. Dying Soul deserves more votes, I'll go with it, I think it's one of the best heavy DT songs, yeah a lot of shredding but priceless and appropiate to the song. -------------

The Glass Prison, it's absolutely awesome and is my favourite DT track. I'd put The Shattered Fortress 2nd & This Dying Soul 3rd (I've only heard Train of Thought fully once but TDS was a stand-out track). -------------
