Out of this group, and based purely on the vocals themselves, I am going with Nils K. Rue - he has an unearthly wail that chills my bones and gets me hooked!

I forgot James Rivera in the poll, from Helstar, a heavy/thrash metal band borderline with prog-metal on their albums 'A distant thunder' and 'Nosferatu'

That definitely does sound to my liking.

Bruce Dickinson with Bob Halford a close second.  Not like I'm an enormous Iron Maiden fan, but his voice is my favorite thing about it.

Unisonic is on my "to-get" list.  I had a free download of the song Unisonic last month.  I'm not familiar with Place Vendome though.  I will have to check them out.  Thanks for the video.  i will check it out later.

Given your tastes, you might like Place Vendome (Kiske + guys from Pink Cream 69) and Unisonic (Kiske + Hansen) :

This poll is focusing on vocals solely.
It's a shame James cannot deliver anymore as high notes as on this song :

Agreed.  I'm a big Helloween fan.  From the list, I would say of the ones that I know, my least favorite are probably Bon Scott, Ian Gillan, and Jason McMaster, and it is mostly that I just have to be in the mood for them or otherwise they kind of grind on my ears a bit.

Correct.
But according to Wikipedia, "This [the first Sanctuary album] was the only album to feature extremely high pitched, layered vocals from vocalist Warrel Dane. It has been speculated that Dane injured himself in the making of Refuge Denied, due to the change in vocal style in his subsequent work."

My vote is for the "Metal God".  I've been a fan of Rob Halford's for almost as long as I have been a fan of music.  I am familiar with many of these vocalists, although I can't recall if I have heard Warren Dale or not.

I was completely hooked by Warren Dale's vocals on Sanctuary and also on his previous band, Serpent's knight. I collected some fine hard rock/metal vocalists who can sing high notes. Let's see who is your favourite.
