That's one of my favourites too, though I believe it's very much overlooked. The lyrics never fail to bring tears to my eyes, especially as I can somewhat relate to them. As to my own Top 10, I'll have to think a bit about since there are so many songs by JT I love. Anyway, one thing I can say for sure: my personal # 1 is "My God", a perfect combination of thought-provoking lyrics and stunning music.

Just got the DVD of Tull at Madison Square Garden and had to search the stub...yep, I was there. My God, they were awesome that night. I saw Tull in the 70's for 4 different tours. That show that they broadcast to 17 different countries was a little strange if I remember. I think Livingston Taylor opened for Tull and My God, embarrassingly my own hometown Tull fans were just brutal towards Livingston. I genuinely felt bad for him. Anyway, if you buy that DVD it comes with the CD versio of the Garden show. That band was exceptionally tight and they had a fill in bass player for the ailing John Glascock. When Glascock was really smokin' and in good health like the Songs From The Wood Tour - Look out...there may not have been a tighter, cleaner, band playing and that included YES.
My Top 10:
Thick As A Brick
Song From The Wood
Minstrel In The Gallery
Aqualung
To Cry You A Song
Baker Street Muse
My God
One Brown Mouse
No Lullaby
Orion
