How do you answer such a tough question. I will however give it a shot
(this types of lists are fun). Here they are in no particular order:
1. DT - Scenes from a Memory (all of it)
2. Yes - The Gates of Delerium
3. Rush - Xanadu (that's how I learned to play drums)
4. Pink Floyd - Astronomy Domine
5. Dreamscape - When Shadows are Gone
6. Yes - Starship Trooper (one of the first prog tunes I got into)
7. Jethro Tull - Baker Street Muse (wierd I know but I love that song)
8. DT - Under a Glass Moon (its a drum thing)
9. Rush - A Farewell to Kings (see Xanadu)
10. Riverside - Second Life Syndrome (it still has that new car smell, awesome tune).

Handing sanity to a faceless mind
I step though the void into this blind
Memory where I see life, death and purity

Wow that is a tough one...a very tough one...I'll have to come back on that, since many of these selections are too good...also, it all depends on who considers what to be prog.

As somebody else has said on this topic, I would go for "unconventional" songs 1) Arbeit Macht Frei - Area 2) Smoke and Mirrors - Symphony X 3) Medio Oriente 249000 tutto comrpeso - Il Volo 4) Luglio, Agosto Settembre Nero - Area 5) Bangkok - Steve Vai 6) Wish you where here - Vanden Plas 7) Pleasent Shade of Grey part V - Fates Warning 8) What Need Have I For This - Shakti With John McLaughlin 9) Metropolis part I - Dream Theater (sorry about that! ) 10) Passage To Paralysis - Explorers Club I'm not generally very keen on "super groups" but I think in this forum too little is said about Explorers Club.

Top 10 as of now, ALWAYS subject to change.
In no particular order:
1. Stardust We Are (Flower Kings)
2. Thick as a Brick (Tull)
3. Echoes (Floyd)
4. The Gates of Delirium (Yes)
5. Starless (KC)
6. The Cinema Show (Genesis)
7. Stranger In Your Soul (Transatlantic)
8. The Isle of Everywhere (Gong)
9. Ensimmäinen Aamu (Pekka Pohjola)
10. Pudding En Gisteren (Supersister)
With honorable mention going to Spanish Key by Miles and A Love Supreme
by Trane as they really arent prog, but share in the same spirit of
innovation.
