I am the sole vote for The Decemberists. Wonderful stuff. |
My wife's had me decorating all day (and all the rest of the week ).
I demanded that prog be put on the main system whilst I was working, in a forlorn attempt to get out of this awful task.
I put on Hazards Of Love first.
She loved it

Christmas decorations?
Very nice
The results are still very close and I'm still unsure as to which ones to buy
My girlfriend has now asked me to buy "Olias of Sunhillow" by Jon Anderson and that's another album I've been wanting to buy as well |
No - painting the bloody dining room & living room.
Your girlfriend is, indeed, extremely wise and has great taste. One of the all time classics, to be sure
|
Indeed she is
Alright, so the results have changed, and in a surprising fashion, might I add.
Bitches with the lead, with Rubycon in 2nd (didn't expect this one to be so high at all )
It's a close one, so I think I'll let it run for one more day. Meanwhile, I shall purchase "Olias of Sunhillow", as that'll surely satisfy both the girlfriend and myself

Indeed
Alright, so I went with "BB" and "Olias..." for the gf and myself...I'll get these albums according to the number of votes each one received.
Rubycon will be next, and so on...
Perhaps a few more votes can be squeezed out for final results.
Grazie!

I'd keep Underfall and Doomsday on your wish list. The Brew and Olias aren't bad additions to your collection though.
|
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

There's (I think) 3 significanlty different versions of Bitches Brew. For 3 bux (even in my NZ ) currency (converts to 20 USDs with postage) it's not bad. But be careful of sales and poorly mastered efforts the record companies dump on unsuspecting music fans. Still it's Saturday. Too late... What's the result?

Way late, my friend
No use in bumping the poll, although it's what I just did
And besides, BB wasn't $3. It was a $3 off discount.
I eventually got "Bitches Brew" and I'll get all of these according to the number of votes each album received.
