Well, I still think he has enough name recognition to get something decent in return.  The problem is that he has a no-trade clause.  Maybe he'd wave it for one of the Canadian teams but I'm not sure what they'd give for him.

I'd love, and I've been saying this since the middle of last season, to see the Pens try to package Fleury and Letang for a defenseman with size and a young goalie.

Censored Wings just gave up a goal with 24 seconds left in the 1st period so the Canucks now lead 1 - 0.  Where is King By-Tor when I need someone to trash talk with?

I just got back from tonight's hockey game.  Red Wings beat the Oilers 6 to 2.  The Wings led 3 - 0 in the first and went on from there.  Great game.  2 goals for Dan Cleary and 2 goals for Tomas Holmstrom.  Also, the Mule (Johan Franzen) got his 100th career goal.

Edmonton 5, Toronto 0

I should check how many times the Leafs have been shut out this year because this is getting pathetic.

Edit: It's been 6 times. Angry

Whoa yes. Stamkos hasn't scored in a while, didn't he have like 19 goals in 20 games at some point?

Ugh.  The Red Wings are about to lose their 3rd in a row.  They're losing to the Nashville Predators 3 to 1 with 4 minutes left in the game.

Ooh.  Franzen just scored to make it 3 to 2 with 1:33 left to go.

Pens are playing crazy good hockey right now and Sid is simply insane.  Still don't trust Fleury to hold up for the long haul but I'd love to be wrong.

Crosby, 30 games in:
26 goals
50 pts

Yeah, Wings are up 3 to 0 over the Devils going in to the 3rd period.  Yesterdays 4 to 2 win over Montreal was epic.

I just hope that the Habs end up in last place. I was born & raied, educated in Montreal and I hate them. Nothing but a struggling business. f**k the Canadiens.

Ovechkin and Crosby are going to appear on The Price Is Right.  It is hard to imagine either of them actually doing their own grocery shopping. LOL

How cool!!!! Niklas Lidstrom just scored into an empty net to get his 1st career hat trick, and the Wings win 5 to 2.

^Thumbs Up

Jimbo and I made a deal yesterday, that if the next season starts in Helsinki like the previous two (and more importantly, if we can afford it), we'll go and watch the game. It's been one of my lifelong dreams to see an NHL game live, and I believe his too.
