Anyone into hip-hop? I like tons of different stuff, but lately I've been looking for more experimental stuff (but I hate when people rap over improvs, I like it when it's weird and experimental, but loops properly as a beat) so far the truely expeirmental stuff I've liked is limited to Kill The Vulture's last album and Sole & The Skyrider Band. any suggestions?

I've been listening to Death Grips recently. I don't know if that qualifies. Zach Hill plays drums for them.

I can only recommend the 'trip hop' section of DJ Shadow, Massive Attack, and Portishead.

Loudly seconding the recommendation of MF Doom. Look out for the various albums he's put out under other pseudonyms too - King Geedorah, Madvillain, Dangerdoom, Viktor Vaughn, he's put out good material under all those identities.

Gnarls Barkley are an interesting experimental hip-hop outfit which you might enjoy; Cee-Lo Green is the singer there and as you probably know from his solo material he tends to sing rather than rap which gives the music a bit more of a melodic edge than a lot of rap.

J Dilla and DJ Shadow are the ones that first come to mind. The latter is absolutely essential if you're into hip-hop

Consolidated!  I credit CBC Radio FM's Brave New Waves for my awareness of this group as well as The Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy, Ice-T, N.W.A....etc.
This one features Paris. Warning: Profanity

I forgot got mention B. Dolan. He put out my favorite hip-hop album with The Failure. It's a loose concept album about the last man in the world going insane.

Audio88 from Germany, very dark, sinister but also politically aware.
I even found a collaboration track in english:

Here I am! Better never than late, but I'm late.

Thou shalt all go and get the complete album Beauty And The Beat by Edan. No Youtubery for you, just get the whole record. If you like creative beats, you will *not* be disappointed.
