It's quirky jazzy-progressive-pop songs by Carla Bley, mostly with Robert Wyatt on vocals.  I think Mason produced it and plays some drums.   It's easy on the ears, but has enough twists and turns to keep it interesting.

Thanks for the comments, Mason's solo work is the only from the Floyd members I never checked out... not easy to find !

I think that I bought that one on vinyl a little while back.  I haven't listened to it yet though.  I think that that one may have been still sealed, so I decided not to open it.  I'll have to double check though; maybe it ws a Richard Wright vinyl that I purchased.

re: Nick Mason

Listening to it again now, it definitely has a few yucky songs, but the ones that are good are a lot of fun.  On a scale of one to five I'd probably give it a three.

Two best songs are

"Can't Get My Motor to Start"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5UWhewMXzE

"I'm a Mineralist"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JADPCcpUbu0

Both of which kind of sound RIO-y
