Also, I'm having a very hard time deciding how to vote in this poll.  I think the Lamb is the most interesting and elaborate concept album ever written, but I also have enjoyed The Wall for most of my life - while the storyline isn't as deep or thought provoking as the Lamb, it's still pretty heavy.  And purely musically, it might have a slight edge.

Abstain for now.

Hello Michael,  this should answer your question.  From the "Frequently Asked Questions" section:

Why can't I create polls or vote in existing ones?
Poll creation and voting is only available to forum members with higher ranks than Newbie. Once you've posted 100 messages on the forum, you'll be able to vote in prog polls. This was introduced on the forums to avoid people creating fake accounts to mess with the polls.

The Lamb is totally brilliant. Every bit of it. The Wall is very good too but The Lamb beats it.

The Wall has some very good moments, but The Lamb has rather more.

If the Lamb had been edited down to a single album of just the best bits, it could have been a work of near genius.

But The Lamb is left way behind by Subterranea, which is probably the most comparable concept album to it and a masterpiece.

I am currently digging:

Hawkwind, Rare Bird, Gong, Tangerine Dream, Khan, Iron Butterfly, and all things canterbury and hard-psych. I also love jazz!

Please drop me a message with album suggestions.
