Oh, the anti metal brigade used to be way more vocal here. And as there used to be many more prog metal fans active on the board back then, the wars were vicious. Not anymore.

FWIW I do like Tyr more than Eternal Idol or Headless Cross. In those albums, there was a kinda commercial rock element which didn't blend well with the metal for me. Tyr OTOH evokes the kind of epic metal we would hear more of in the 90s. Not my favourite sub genre but props to Iommi for changing yet again.
