Ayreon - The Theory of Everything. The only album I'm familiar with in the poll, in theory.

Evergrey > Threshold > Symph X
The sheer quality of that Evergrey release after their downward spiral of the previous few albums, was quite a surprise... superb album.

Opeth for sure. Watershed was my very first Opeth record I ever heard (I was about 13 or so) and it’s always been one one of my favorites in their discog. You could tell the band were transitioning into their new sound, but the remnants of the sound found on Ghost Reveries were still glorious as usual

I didn’t always comment on which album I voted for in the previous polls, so here they all are:
1. In the Woods 2. Leprous 3. Riverside 4. Leprous 5. In the Woods 6. Opeth 7. Riverside 8. Opeth 9. Opeth |

At the beginning of these polls, it was often very difficult to choose one album above all the others. It’s easy now there are so few to choose from. Opeth, by a long margin. 🖤
