Am I the first one to notice? (and is this topic in the right place? THERE ARE NEW SUB-GENRE DEFINITIONS! I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY LIKE IT AND I THINK THE ADMINS DID A GREAT JOB! I also like the idea of the Key-bands, based on ratings. This site is becoming more and more interactive. A great improvement! What do you all think? Edited by Joren |

Yah, the Key band idea is really handy, it's hard to choose which band to venture into next.

Hooray! Canterbury and Fusion have been siphoned off!
![]() However... The Tangent a KEY Canterbury band?! But really, I love the new listings. My only other gripe would be the contiuing absence of Kevin Ayers, but I'm sure that will put to rights when someone has the time. |

It is based on ratings, however I'm not quite sure why they're classified as Canterbury in the first place... ![]() Otherwise though, great stuff I like the new additions! ![]() |

It goes to show that a lot of hard work has gone into this and it shows that people's opinions do count. Great job. Edited by sigod |

Max, Great job overall. I notice Proto-Kaw is listed as a fusion band. Kind of hard to accept that considering they have a lead singer! |

Hey M@X! Good to see you've knocked the Tangent off the Canterbury
list, but I think you misunderstood my post concerning Kevin Ayers as
Ayers Rock now appears to be in their place!
Kevin Ayers, sometime bassist for Soft Machine and a very quirky singer/songwriter in his own right has long been affiliated to the Canterbury scene, and though I wouldn't say he's a key exponent, I do feel he has a right to be listed on this website. Many of his earlier albums are still held in high regard by progheads worldwide (including me!). That's all I was saying in previous post. Hope that's clearer now... Sorry if it seems like I'm pushing you about! |

Max, the only "major" I've noticed which stuck me as misplaced is the Moody Blues. I don't think they've ever been classed as Folk prog. I would suggest symphonic prog where BJH ("Poor man's moody blues" |

Bravo, I think it is far superior. I would also like to pass along kudos for another thing: album covers no longer appear along the side bar on the band sites. This was extremely frustrating for those with slow internet, and the site is definitely more accessible now. |

All: Just for the record, I take no credit whatsoever for this, as I had nothing to do with it (though I also think it's great!). It was all Max and Rony this time. Peace. |
