I feel that even they're most mainstream/popish albums are still progressive.

Rush has never stopped being prog, in my opinion. Of course, they were more obviously progressive earlier in their career, and have since then been switching between crossover prog and rock with slight prog tinges.

Snakes and Arrows was prog - yes.
Before that, i'd have to say Signals.

The Weapon is the main reason why i think this.

I'd agree with that.  Past that, though... was probably Permanent Waves.

Debatable to a point, but I'd say Signals was their last Prog album proper; GUP was - well I don't know what it was - and Power Windows sent them in a new, invigorated direction that was not Neoprog, Artrock, or Pop.  Rush had always been an original, self-made band even when they imitated others and continue that tradition today.
Hence, their prog Wink

well you have many original, self-made Pop artists too;  U2, Gary Numan, Police, Cocteau Twins, Prince, John Lennon, the list is very long

I hear they have an epic song on it.

I've heard that too, I really hope it's true. I can't wait for this album. So far I've heard Caravan and BU2B and love them both.

That's a big statement for him to make.
To come back into form with his drumming hasn't seem quite possible, but i think he has always had good lyrics.

I want better than good from Rush, i want excellent, that's why i dont have high expectation for this new release, considering the 2 new songs we have heard. It's good but it's not my "ideal Rush"...
