Alan - you need to listen to Voyage 34
Seriously though, it's excellent

Try 'Voyage 34' by Porcupine Tree. People may think it's a standard dance mix, but if they then listen to the vocal samples.... |
Are they rude? |
No that's Voyage 69
Oooh, Mr Wilson, saucy!

Any specific version? There seem to be a few different sections and remixes available.

The actual piece is only Phase I & II, with Phase III & IV being the remixes. All four parts were collected together as The COmplete Trip compilation album.

I'd go for the phase I - IV version; can usually pick it up for very little; when I used to do chillout DJing, I'd usually drop a couple of samples into the set.

That's good enough. We're auditioning next Tuesday in Upminster. |
Sorry guys, we have found a replacement guitarist, one who will not storm out in a huff if we play a song 1bpm too fast.

Incidentally - anyone remember that this time last year we were basking in 20/24 degree heat under sunny skies & in danger of sunburn?
Today - about 6 inches of frozen solid snow!

I too have that panama hat.
As I fast approach my 56th birthday I lament the southerly migration of my arse - until this year my waistline was sufficiently smaller than my butt to make a belt the only tethering necessary to hold up my trousers, now I fear that should I ever feel the requirement to run for bus I shall end up sprawled facedown on the pavement as my jeans entangle themselves around my knees. The alternatives available appear to be hoisting the trouser to the underarms in mocking tribute to that obnoxious Cowell chap, or the dreaded red braces.

Wouldn't that be an arse "exile" Dean?.....I think a migration implies there's a chance it might be coming back up

Not so much southerly arse migration I'm battling with as the saddlebag encroachment; I suspect several years of real ale consumption has given its results ideas above its station, ie the need for lebensraum!

Hello (blink blink squint). I'm from Canada. I have five feet of snow in my yard. It's warm here in England! Can I get a beer? A COLD one? What goes on around here? Did those American members grow up yet? What is this "prog" you all speak of? Can someone define it for me in 1500 words or less, so I'll know it when I hear it? Is that a real mellotron? Where's Jim?

Hello, Snowman. As this site does not accommodate webcams (and -- more to the point -- as I don't own one), it will likely continue to be a long time until you see me -- if ever you do. Don't be sad -- as Jim can attest, you're not missing much.

How about "Long time no read" Mr Literal? It doesn't scan as well but if it is in the cause of accuracy, I'm in!
