Mike Patton could very well get a vote just because of the fact that he is secretly a genie that rides sparkles the lightning unicorn. He shoots lighting from his eyes and kills you.

I see. He doesn't sound particularly big or intimidating but I will certainly take your word for it!

It isnt size that makes you intimidating, its the kind of music you play.
here.

That is Stengah all alone. Notice how he dosent smile, smiling is for the weak and takes energy that could be used for playing, and killing people.
Not to mention he turned this metal song very funky.

Agreed, though the whole of Magma's line up look pretty intimidating to me. Then there's Alex 'come and have a go if you think you're hard enough, copper!' Lifeson - anybody who beats up mounties in his spare time is about as intimidating as you can get.

I know Man Overboard meant *musically* intimidating but since this thread (unfortunately) has taken a physical turn, I'll say Lemmy when he was a roadie for Keith Emerson in the late 60s.

Musically it is maybe Hammill....

Christian Vander can be considered both musically and physically intimidating however IMO.
