#1 Moody Blues!

I LIKE that list!
And Jesus said unto John, "come forth and receive eternal life..."
Unfortunately, John came fifth and was stuck with a toaster.

are we starting to see the evolution? start at the top
and see where mostly europeans and some north
americans planted seeds. then if you can get a good
grasp of the change of power from early 70s english
psychedelic prog to late 70s german kosmiche
rock(instrumental) then and only then you can follow
through the 80s and 90s.
But if british prog through the 70s is your basemark
you get lost in second rate neo-prog(genesis, yes,
kc,etc) CLONE bands and lose all perspective. You
become a media pincushion robot doll! Or a Prog
Metal Head!

First 14 are exellent, but after that you have put a lot of albums that don't belong here.

Where is VDGG, Soft machine, King crimson

Only album of king of psyhodelia, Pink Floyd is Wish you were here instead of Umagumma, Piper at the gates.., Atom heart mother

Brain ticket is pure psyhodelia

guess you dont have an ear for European
Progressive Rock/Kosmiche Musik or probably not
familar with it. Anyway some think its right on with the
progression of English prog towards European
advancement of the genre. Others think that English
prog peaked in the mid 70's and was dead until
neo-prog rehashed and reworked it. I think it
continued to evolve and basically got snuffed out by
the recording industry by the early 80's. Kind of like
the global ban on methaquaalone(Quaalude, Sopor,
Mandrex, Dormadina,etc)!

Herbie Hancock's - Headhunters is an exellent fusion album, it has nothing with Europe, and esspecially not with Progressive Rock/Kosmiche Musik.

The same for Billy Cobham (USA-Jazz - rock)
