I'd recommend you check out some Anekdoten, either Vemod or Nucleus.  The lead singer has such a nice voice but it doesn't inhibit the band from still kicking ass and rocking hard.

Also, along with that Italian Prog Rock recommendation, get Le Orme's Felona e Sorona.  As far as I am concerned, those are some of the sweetest vocals ever recorded.

Bacamarte - Depois do Fim.  Awesome awesome awesome.
Can  - for a taste of Kruatrock
Gentle Giant...just pick any thing.  I like Acquiring the Taste and Octopus, for starters.

mmmm.  Enjoy.

The Bacamarte album is very good.

Anglagard is amazing...both albums are core prog, Hybris is considered one of the classics even though it was a 90's record.

Semiramis is a nice Italian band with some extra intensity.

Quella Vecchia Locanda is on the other end. Beautiful, Harmonium - like music.
You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

You mention Pink Floyd, Camel and Caravan that are my favourite bands, so I think you should enjoy the following:

Renaissance: Live at Carnegie Hall

Mostly Autumn: The Spirit of Autumn Past / The Last Bright Light

EL&P: Trilogy

Jethro Tull: Aqualung

Ayreon: The Human Equation
Collegium Musicum: Konvergencie
Anglagard: Hybris
Gentle Giant: 3 friends
After Crying: Fold Es Eg

I'm missing a lot of names and albums for sure.

Bellaphon (a Japanese band) is a Camel clone in the mood of Moonmadness. Not bad at all.

Hey, did someone already mention Khan? Try Grobschnitt's Rockpommel's Land or any of the 70's Grobschnitt stuff. Tull's Minstral or Songs from the Wood also come to mind.
