A criminally underrated drummer : Horacee Arnold. Fusion at its best. The album is 'tales of the exonerated flea' and was released in 1974. Just look at the line-up :
Horacee Arnold (drums, percussions),
Jan Hammer (moog, electric piano, piano),
Rick Laird (bass),
David Friedman (vibraphone, marimba),
Ralph Towner (12-string guitar),
Dom Um Romao (percussions),
Art Webb (flute),
Sonny Fortune ( soprano sax, flute),
John Abercrombie (electric guitar),
George Mraz (bass),
Clint Huston (bass),
Dave Johnson (percussions, congas)
