The muzac could be the theme from 'The Archers' - which would confuse our French visitors, but we'd know what it meant

Well they certainly did at Agincourt! Mind you, so did King Harold at the Battle of Hastings - and Bob the Nob at the Battle of Epping Forest, if memory serves (a broken bottle in the gob rather than an arrow in the eye).

Sorry to interrupt Mr Gabriel sir, but I've just discovered there is a Spam museum

http://www.spam.com/games/Museum/default.aspx

I quote -

"The museum features 16,500 square feet of SPAM® artifacts, history and fun—and all for free! Yes, that’s right— it’s free admission to check out vintage advertising, answer SPAM® trivia, try your hand at canning SPAM® products, stock up on collectible SPAM® memorabilia, and learn about all the SPAM® products, even the hard-to-find varieties."

Sounds brilliant, pity it's in the US.

In that case you should go to El Trevelez in Andalucia - I've never tasted better black pudding! No museum, sadly, but well worth a visit.

I was reading earlier that one of the top ten searches in Google by kids is "google". I don't understand - why would you google "google"? Would it be to find out the web address for Google?

ConfusedQuestion
Question

PS I'm a big black pudding fan but I don't think I'd go all the way to Andalucia to get some.

How does one know children are searching for Google on Google?  There really is no way of telling.

Perhaps adults were after Googol or Gogol and couldn't spell?

Nah...

I give up.  There is no valid reason. Confused

I'm off to (hopefully) sunny Norfolk for a couple of weeks tomorrow. I may well be popping in to see Jared if he's around.
See you all in 2 weeks.

According to Noel Coward Norfolk is terribly flat. Maybe you could investigate this phenomenon while you're there.

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson
