I assumed as much, they're probably in that next group of bands after the Big 5/6/7, was happy enough voting for Henry Cow.

Valentyne Suite is one of my all-time favourite albums so I vote Colosseum.

Egg for me. Brilliantly experimental and the only band here that I own an album of.
Colosseum and Curved Air deserve a mention too

The Ozrics definately. I've been obsessed with their music for a long time. And they're also great to listen to while cleaning the house, especially the bookcases.

I've always thought of the Ozrics' music as a perfect soundtrack for cleaning bookcases.

Don't be snotty. You have no idea how many bookkcases I have and what an effort it is to actually get your ass moving and try to keep the dust off of them.

Ozrics>Egg.

I am currently digging:
Hawkwind, Rare Bird, Gong, Tangerine Dream, Khan, Iron Butterfly, and all things canterbury and hard-psych. I also love jazz!
Please drop me a message with album suggestions.

hard to vote, not significantly familiar with any, although I have heard a few and even had a couple albums by Gryphon and Curved Air which did not impel me to explore further. My limited knowledfge vote goes to Egg for the one album by heard from them which was better than anything I heard from the others, even if not really my style
