Well, there's the obvious: Neal Morse. You've also got Cryptic Vision (a lot like Kansas), Kerry Livgren's Seeds Of Change, Glass Hammer, Salem Hill, Iona (spiritual prog with a Celtic flair...awesome band), Ajalon. Those are the only ones I can think of right now.

I'd be interested in this too.

I can't add much except that Arena Songs from the Lion's Cage seems biblically-themed.

Also, I typically refer to this as "God-Prog"...as in, "Jimmy might get really freaked out if we put the God-Prog on!" Anyone else use this term?
Thank you, God of Rock, for this chance to kick ass

Then there's Christian Vander prog

"Questions are a burden to others; answers a prison for oneself" (The Prisoner, 1967).

Listen to "Jesus Christ Superstar" and forget about Christian prog. Smile
I don't think it's possible to make something, musically and lyrically, of the same level.

Glory Road, Arizona, 70s with Greg Williams on guitar. Prog parts though, not a prog album, as it were. Not so easy to find either. If you like hard rock in more of a acid-psych format, checkout "Moonblood" by Fraction. That's not at all a prog album, but excellent nonetheless.

Epignosis self-titled has received various very high ratings: http://www.progarchives.com/album-reviews.asp?id=24140
I've only heard the myspace: http://www.myspace.com/epignosismusic

Note: Torman Maxt is another Christian act that springs to mind, but it is not, generally-speaking, a very highly regarded band at PA.  Not my cup of tea, but the latest album has some high ratings.http://www.progarchives.com/album-reviews.asp?id=16857

King's X were once labelled Christian.  They don't claim to be a Christian band but are a good band to check out anyway (though they are only prog-related).

"The Judas Kiss" by The Flower Kings.

An alternate retelling of the last days of Jesus, wherein Jesus and his disciples are being chased in the snow by wolves. How much more badass does it get than that?

That sounds intriguing... How do you rate the music itself in comparison with other FK works?

Pretty highly. I especially enjoy the live versions with the Stash jam in the middle.

The Flower Kings actually have a number of biblically themed songs. "Go West Judas", "Humanizzimo", "Adam & Eve", "Touch My Heaven". Not sure if Roine Stolt is actually religious or if he just finds the mythology interesting, but it's cool nonethless.

I am speechless. I'm tempted to buy the song on iTunes just to hear that.

Even though he isn't listed on this site, try Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush "Eye of the Storm".
