Sooooooo, my name is Arik and like many of you I very much enjoy prog music! I've known about this website for a long time now, but I just recently decided to finally join since it's dedicated to my favorite genre(s) of music.
I listen mostly to the metal genres, but I'm also a big fan of rock groups like Porcupine Tree, Rush, Jethro Tull, etc. Here's a little list of some of my favorite artists if you're all wondering:
Sigh, Devin Townsend, Björk, Death, Swans, Thy Catafalque, Tool, Gojira, Neutral Milk Hotel, Savatage, Death Grips, Portishead, Radiohead, Candlemass, Cannibal Ox, Disillusion, Drudkh, Coheed and Cambria, DJ Shadow, Atheist

Not great at introductions, so that's all for now! Wink

Hello Arik,
Nice to meet you Handshake
Since you like metal you might like this band too, Pain of Salvation from Sweden, I went to see them last year and live they are even better plus Daniel Gildenlow can sing up to 4 octoves which is quite rare.

Thanks Kati! I've actually all ready heard both of those groups, and I'm a particularly big fan of Pain of Salvation. But thanks! :)
