Ain't that the pure undiluted truth! Fag hags , I believe they were called then . Their mission in life is to convert gay strays back to 'normalcy" , Florence bloody Nightingales!

Is that right? I always thought hags were straight girls who celebrated the culture.

Over the past 23 years together my wife has endured a vast barrage of Prog, Jazz and Rock. Even this past week driving in the car she was subjected to my usual pop quiz of "what band is this"? She answered this weeks question easily, of course it was Pink Floyd. She does quite well.
My wife can identify Yes, King Crimson, ELP, The Who, Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, Moody Blues, Frank Zappa, Genesis ( and wether it is Peter or Phil singing) and quite a few other bands. I've taken her to see Yes numerous times and we're taking our kids to see them this tour in Columbus. We've also seen Genesis, ELP, Moody Blues, The Who, Jethro Tull, Peter Gabriel, Kansas and Chick Corea.
I have no complaints with the wife's prog appreciation. I'll keep her another 23 years I guess. |
"OOOOH ! What a Lucky Man he was" (Moog solo) . Now does she have a single sister by any chance? |
I'm afraid not only five brothers.

Now that would be a nice thought: a Prog dating site. A huge pool of thousands of expressive, intelligent (well, maybe)and artistic men for girls to choose from! PA : Perfect Affair

But you do agree that SOME were entranced by the ability to relate with them on so many levels and in some cases actually had relationships. I know of at least a dozen cases. Some lasted , some didn't. Same old, same old.

I'm well aware that the second half of that doesn't grammatically work

Well, I suppose I am what you would call older (my age is in my profile, and I've never lied about it in my life), but I'm definitely not a lesbian ... Nothing against them, of course (on the contrary, I'm extremely in favour of gay rights, and hate any kind of gay bashing and/or discrimination), but I am quite sure you all know that I'm waiting for ol' Uncle Sam to give me the green light, so that I can marry a certain someone ...
On a more serious note, I've seen a couple of rather misogynistic remarks around this thread. I hope not to see any others, or I'll have to ask the Admins to do something. Jokes are OK, but they should be in good taste.

So, basically, you were just spamming this thread for lulz?
And if you honestly don't know what the cake is a lie is about, I wish I could share your blissful ignorance of internet idiocy.
On-topic: Uh, no, I don't really care what other people's music tastes are in real life, so I honestly don't know.
