For me (according to many critics [and I am not mad]) Prog Metal is a NEO NEO PROG!!!!!!!!!! And this is (Metal or Prog Rock Sub Genre) a Sub Genre or Genre of music!!! |
I agree with you except with the fact that you'r not mad.

All Progressive Rock is Progressive Rock.
Sub genres just cause arguments between people.
It's just another bizarre humanoid attempt to categorize.
Hello Everyone, I love mostly All Progrssive music from 1966 to 2006.
I have 3666 Progressive Rock Albums and Cd's. I have seen most all of them in concert.
Take Care.

look out for Peter Rideout and his silly pictures....he says it's just metal with keyboards....
There is one vote for no....you'll have to track them down..

You Have Just Tracked Me Down. What do have to say? I know Prog Metal doesn't exsit. However
Proggressive Rock is all Progressive no need for sub genres. Read my Other message.

Not to play the definition game, but what do you mean by "exist"? All
genres of music exist in the minds of those that label them.
Conversely, no genres of music exist in the concrete sense. The
questions seems irrelevant to me.

Of course it exists. I don't care for it, but that doesn't make any difference. Although, I do believe that it belongs more to metal than prog.

It wasn't a question. I am telling you they don't exist and that is all you need to know right now.

It's not going to end the debate,it's just going to fuel it.
I don't care if anybody else likes it,I don't care if anyone else think it's not a legitimate prog sub genre.......

Ohh - I can feel your anger.
What is there to get used to if it's all ready here.
You should not give fuel to this fire. You should quietly enjoy sub genres because they won't be here for long.

What does that mean? Are you going to rain down fire and brimstone upon us? Is prog metal the next Sodom and Gomorrah?
