Can't believe this thread has gone on for more than six years and 'Gates of Delirium' has never even been mentioned ...

Damn, I love Prog. These are all wonderful tracks!!!
But you put "Suppers Ready" in there so it's not a fair contest!!!

Supper's Ready rightly dominates the voting from those listed (I do agree that many are missing). I would also have liked to have seen what the voting would have been like without it. I'd have been curious to see where those transferable votes went. I'd have gone for Caravan and Nine Feet Underground - an excellent track!

I actually don't get why some people don't mention their favourite from the list and then say what their actual choice would be if it were listed, nor do I understand the expectation that some people have that something should be on the list. The "Where is..." questions irk me and often come off as complaining and in too many cases people ask questions without reading through a thread before asking (sometimes the question has already been answered). ---------------------------------------- Incidentally, too many threads are being bumped of late for my tastes with insubstantial commentary -- it's hard to carry on a discussion when lots of threads are bumped and can push down newer topics that people might have put lots of effort into. I think if one is to bump a thread, one should at least put some time and effort into the post, otherwise it can seem spammy. Anyway, there are several that I love on the list, but I vote for "A Plague Of Lighthouse Keepers".

Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I observed before. It can be much like that with music for me; immersed in experiencing the moment.

Four massive favorites on that list. I'd have happily voted for Nine Feet Underground, Lizard or Supper's Ready, but the Van der Graaf even beats those out.
