The new Baroness, Yellow & Green, has a lot of psychedelic elements present.

Hehehe, this is gonna blow you away, if psychedelic tinged metal is what you like, check out the hungarian-french ensemble Myster Möbius. The quality of the videos is not the best, and somebody tell the bassist he is a frustrated Chapman Stick player (anyway he's great :P)

Listening to a bit of Alchemist now...not bad. Not what I meant when I opened this thread, but good stuff. Baroness / Mastodon sphere of metal, a little more traditional. But rockin'.
You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

Listened to about half of that...not my cup of tea. Not bad...there was probably a time I would have loved it. (I actually feel the same way about Anathema) Tastes change.

If you liked In the Woods... can I suggest offshoot band Drawn, similar but more aggressive.

You wont find their sole album, A New World?, on spotify in all likely hood and considering the limited run on the CD it might take a while to find that as well, but it's well worth it once you do.
Spending more than I should on Prog since 2005
