Yes this self-proclaimed moron is the only one who thanks himself from one of his other accounts. What a total dick. Saying that he acts like a child, would be an insult to children. How old is he again?

I really don't understand why who was banned insists in rejoining in this way. I've been banned from Linkedin many years ago and I was so pissed off that I asked a backup of all my posts, connections and so on then I closed my account forever. If I disagree with the policy of a site, I simply give up.
Just to say, i replied to the post of one of the many racist idiots who were spreading idiocies about ethnic substitution and "dangerous migrants with mobile phones", the usual BS that this kind of persons use, by posting the photo of the 3 years old dead syrian child on a Greek beach, saying "This is your dangerous invader".
I've been banned for having posted a corpse.
So f@ck off Zuckerberg and all his Meta stuff
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

Svetonio is a poop who thinks "mint suits" is a number and whose downspout enthusiasm is no different than the odor of a bunk bed helicopter piloted by a cadaverous Jupiter that lost his red spot to a herd of honeycomb ducks smoking greasy tablecloths.

When I was new to Prog I always thought Meat Loaf was at least loosely connected to the genre. I was surprised when I saw he was not even in Prog Related on this site! Bat Out of Hell has to be one of the most well known long (9 min) rock songs, and he has several other well known songs that go over 10 min (e.g I would do anything for love), so I still kind of see him very mild prog.

Hi,
As much as I would wish/like to be able to make suggestions, I have given up.
I'll review a few things as they appear and sometimes they are nice and some times they are not (won't review those or say anything), but in general, I think that the decisions made for inclusion, are too much limited to sounding like someone else already selected, and I have my doubts about the qualities of the musical ability in many additions, since they are copies of a copy and that is also a copy.
My ideas, though probably a bit on the sophomoric side, are more open to new ideas and thoughts and music ... and the art form has for hundreds of years about changes, with one exception ... a major exception ... the folks that made the decisions always sided with the King (or otherwise) and in general, they only liked what they already knew and heard ... and guess what ... same thing here. So 500 years later, it's like we don't listen, we only copy.
PA has gotten better for my tastes in terms of selections for things that are liked and heard ... many of the lists these days are far out to say the least and they have several things from all over the world ... and this shows a much wider appreciation for things.
The question is, for me, is PA about adding to what music is, INSTEAD OF WAS, or are we just keeping up with the neighbors that seem to be adding more numbers than we are? I tend to think that we have been siding with the numbers, not the music, and many folks should have been invited and there already, were it all a simple appreciation for the music ... which would have added some works that keep getting refused, and sometimes don't deserve to. MEATLOAF is one, but I'm not sure he cares what folks think ... he was abused so badly in the early days, until all of a sudden BOOH simply went nuts and became a huge album ... and some of its material is still fresh and sounds magnificent ... but sady ... it doesn't have all the details that some of the groupings that PA has, requires and some folks seem to be voting on their preference, not on the details. Likewise THE GRATEFUL DEAD would also have been added a long time ago, for their musicianship alone, and their "touch" and incredible history to the development of the "progressive" thing, which many seem to not pay attention to and the band was one of the first doing many of the things that we think/thought were important.
I've given up fighting for the underdog. At my age, that fight ends up seemingly a lost cause, and your muscles and bones, don't want to care anymore. But, I think that the OPPORTUNITY to help the genre, and develop it further, is in the hands of the folks in the court ... as the movie says ... "too many notes" ... and everyone looks at each other and agree. It's not about the music at all ... because if it were folks would recognize great works all along ... it's very simple ... but not enough to know when someone is adventurous and creative, instead of just a copy! AND a copy of an idea at that!

Hi,
Maybe PA should/could create a special definition for bands that are not considered progressive, but have the talent and ability, to be recognized. Even that Hall of a Joke has done that for bands that were not given status, but in the end have been given a nod of appreciation, which the Oscar has also done for folks that have been huge in the history of cinema, but never got an award.
Oh well ... nice thought ... I don't want PA to think I don't care. I have a lot more than they can appreciate and have been at the forefront of "progressive" since at least 1968 or 1969 ... and I never learned how to give it up ... and still fight for a lot of it! Sometimes it feels fruitless, but seeing the music remembered and appreciated is something that my heart wants to appreciate as much as its blood flows.

And I thought personal attacks were not allowed at PA.
You arrived a little late to the party. This thread was started by "Logan Rat Moron" (his profile pic was of an ugly, hairless rat or something) aka Svetonio, and it only featured images of Swans. So that was the personal attack.
Chicago Traffic The Doors (proto anyway) Journey (pre Steve Perry era) Iron Maiden (some of it anyway) Styx (some of it) Santana (some of it) Led Zeppelin (some) Black Sabbath (some) The Tubes (some stuff is very proggy and it's a shame they aren't at least prog related on here)

I must have missed the original post. I see cstack as the thread starter. I know about Svetty. Was his latest account deleted? I saw one really strange post by Loganrat whatever a couple of weeks ago or so but didn't think too much of it. I smelled a rat nonetheless.
